A few people at a talk I gave recently on arthritis and nutrition wanted me to put some information on inflammation on my site for them to show other people they thought it could help. Inflammation is a necessary part of the body defence system. However if it is chronic or long term it can ,through a complicated process cause damage to otherwise healthy joints or organs. Inflammation can contribute to asthma, IBS, heart disease, and many other conditions but the cause of the inflammation can be the foods that your eating. |
